Reunion Happy Hour - Friday-16th!

Just wanted to also blog real quick about the Happy Hour on the 16th at Caprock Cafe!

This is a Come and Go as you Please Event! My husband and I will be there for sure and be there by 5:30 PM... But on a Friday Night - there is no way for us to reserve a section for an unknown amount of people!

So plan to come - stop by, and we may just have to take over the restaurant, table by table! Hope to see you all there, at least for a drink or two!

FHS 10 Year Reunion - Finally Confirmed

I just had to share with all of you that finally - we have a place confirmed for our 10 year reunion. We have been working very hard to make sure that we find the right location to have a nice evening together, but still are working to keep costs reasonable.

So - the date has been set, and a place is reserved for Saturday Night - October, 17th, 2009.

Please look for an invitation in the mail soon - we will also have informal events on Friday Night, October 16th and Saturday Afternoon, October 17th.

So - What is the plan!

Thanks to everyone who has already emailed me their updated info!  Keep it coming and get the word out!

So I have already been asked why the Reunion is not going to be until October - and there are a couple of reasons...

1.  Planning just started, and I have A LOT going on in May and June personally...

2.  Planning just started, and we have no compiled information on our classmates...

3.  There is not really enough time for people who live out of town to book flights, etc.

4.  Thought it would be more fun to have our reunion when the TTU Alumni could also catch a home football game.

5.  The weekend we are planning for is Columbus weekend, so hopefully there are some people out there who will have a three day weekend, making it a good time for an out of town trip!

So that is where we are right now!  Help from everyone can come in the form of getting our class information put together, so please keep sending in the information.  I may not respond to everyone individually - but I will certainly try to keep the BLOG updated as we go!
